I’ve always loved fashion, beauty and a good story.
When I created the Naked Beauty Podcast in 2016, I approached it as an experiment and asked: what would it be like to make the podcast that I wish existed, and to help tell the stories of people who view beauty, wellness, and fashion as way to express themselves, vs. something that’s strictly a utility?
The podcast began as a way to connect with people who have a similar approach to these things, and who possess a love for the practice of living through the lens of beauty and wellness. Putting together a LOOK is a highlight of the day for me, and I love experimenting with my hair, personal style, makeup and skincare. People who take risks with their own self-expression are so inspirational to me, and I am always curious about what motivates them to do what they do.
There is something that is so special about the connection that we have with our own beauty routines; something that makes it worth discussing for hours, and it’s the reason I started this podcast.
The community that my listeners have built around Naked Beauty is something I am in awe of and inspired by every day.
Welcome to Naked Beauty; we’re happy you’re here.
This is not a podcast that centers reviews and tutorials. We don’t have beauty experts coming on and telling you what to do. Instead, we’re focused on the experience of beauty and self-care. We dive deep into the ways that our personal perspectives on beauty tie into our daily experience, what calls us to certain beauty rituals and what we’ve learned from the people in our lives that connect us as a community of beauty and self-care lovers.
